Who We Are

King’s Christian School Alaska (KCSA) is a ministry of King’s Alaska.

Bible-based instruction is carried out formally and integrated into the daily school experience. Students are immersed in a Spirit-filled Christian atmosphere, surrounded by staff members who strive to have their presence be a testimony to the Christian faith.
Proverbs 22:6 states, “Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” The responsibility of training our children for their future purpose rests on the parents, the school, and the church. KCSA honors and nurtures these partnerships by providing an excellent education for each student.

Our Mission

King’s Christian School Alaska: Redefining Education by
Equipping students to Excel as scholars, Evangelize as disciples, and Engage as leaders.

Scholarship:
We inspire students to excel as scholars with a lifelong passion, prioritizing God’s Word as the foundation of all knowledge.
II Timothy 3:16-17 “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.”
  • Be able to articulate and defend his/her faith.
  • Develop a righteous standard of character based upon the truth of God’s Word and use it to establish personal, academic, and social priorities.
  • Develop as lifelong learners.
  • Develop skills to investigate, problem solve, and make wise decisions rooted in biblical wisdom.
  • Develop individualized skills in all disciplines that reflect Biblical values, intellectual standards, and respect for the knowledge obtained.
Discipleship:
We equip students to evangelize as disciples, cultivating spiritual growth in understanding, applying the Word of God in their lives, and fulfilling the Great Commission.
Matthew 28:18–20 “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them… and teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
Expected Student Outcomes in Discipleship:
  • Develop a personal relationship with Jesus.
  • Understand and commit to developing the spiritual disciplines of a disciple of Jesus Christ.
  • Be holy as our Heavenly Father is holy (Leviticus19:2)
  • As a disciple and follower of Jesus Christ in accordance with His Great Commission, will be a disciple-maker who leads others to follow and be changed through a relationship with Jesus.
  • Participate in a Christ-centered community.
  • Articulate and defend their Christian worldview while demonstrating a basic understanding of opposing worldviews.
  • Be good stewards of God’s creation.
Leadership:
We prepare students to engage as leaders, influencing the world for Christ through intentional, Christ-centered leadership in every area of life.
1 Timothy 4:12 “Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.” 
Expected Student Outcomes in Leadership:
  • Honor and respect the Bible as God’s authoritative Word.
  • Strive to know and submit to the will of God in his/her daily life.
  • Commit him/herself to relational, physical, mental, and spiritual purity.
  • Prepare for the responsibilities and privileges of a voting citizen of the United States.
  • Understand the joy and responsibility of being an active member of a local church.
  • Understand the value of service and strive to meet the needs of others through servant leadership.
